On New Years Eve, we got a babysitter (the one and only Summer) and took my parents to a Utes game. When we got back, we had a 70th birthday party for my dad with a few decorations, cake and ice cream. It was fun, the kids always love a birthday party for anyone!
My cousin donated an Over the Hill banner for a 40th birthday, so I changed the 40 to a 70. (my dad's head is covering part of it)
Kaitlin loves to "clean her room." So I actually thought that she would be asleep in her room because she had been quiet for so long - but instead she had pulled just about every thing she could find and put them into a huge pile, sat in the middle of it, and was reading books.
Too cute of a face to be mad at!
Yes, the snow was up to Kaitlin's waist last week! She's the only one that is ever brave enough to go outside and play in it.

As my little buddy would say, "That's Amazing"- the snow is gorgeous! Course Brian probably wouldn't agree since he's the one out there dealing with it but from a person who rarely sees it, its a sight!
Oh, and cute pics of kids opening their gifts too!

I like the banner alteration idea. They should sell them with a blank spot for the age!
