Our Halloween Day!

This is how our Halloween Day went. At 12:15, I took the boys to school for their Halloween party. (Kaitlin, Jackson, Logan) They were SO EXCITED to be Transformers.
I'm probably just biased, but this is one of the CUTEST Snow White's I've ever seen. Look at that face!

And look at those shoes! I wish you could all see her walking in those shoes. It's HILLARIOUS. She even jumps up and down in them. And they are way too big on her. Don't worry, she didn't wear them trick or treating.

This is her own doing. I guess she wanted to be a
"Snow White Mr. T" It was funny. She LOVES her "pretties!"

While the boys were at school, we went over to our awesome neighbors house and had a neighborhood party for the kids.

Liz (our awesome neighbor) and Liz (our other awesome neighbor) set up this whole shindig. We all brought a bag of candy and put it in spot in the yard, and then the kids walked around to every bag, and picked some out. Kaitlin got stuck at the first one, grabbing several pieces, so after this picture, during that portion of the shindig, I had to walk around with her making sure she only grabbed 1 piece.

This is sweet Kara Egan (the girl who started Scentsy). Pretty cute pirate!
And this is cute Kara Egan's little girl, Kandi. She was a witch... maybe not the happiest one though? ;) So, then I picked up the boys from school, after the parties, and we came home and waited for Mimi and Grandpa to get to our house. Brian had a Physical Therapy appt that evening (he couldn't go trick or treating anyway on crutches!) and when they got to our house, we took off. This is Summer's house. Summer is Jackson's "crush" - a 14 yr old girl, who babysits him, and he loves more than any other girl. If Summer can't babysit, we don't go out.
Our neighbor Karen, turned us onto trick-or-treating last year in the 2 gated communities of our neighborhood. They give tons of full sized candy bars, their houses are decked out really cute etc... Take for instance, the above house. It's decorated AWESOME.... so 2 of the 3 unsuspecting kids walk up to the house...

And SCREAM when this couple jumps out at them. The lady actually had a mask on and they scared my kids to death! She hurried and took it off and they tried to comfort my kids. The lady is pointing to her husband and saying, "He has a headache!" It was super cute and funny.

We trick-or-treated (much to my dad's dismay) for 2 1/2 hours. My dad kept saying, "ok, this is the last house and then let's go home!" That went on for about 1 1/2 hours. Haha... The only reason I am showing a couple of the bags is because the one on the right, is Kaitlin's. She got TRIPLE the amount of candy the boys did. And why you ask? Because she would reach in to people's buckets, and grab 2 handfuls of candy everytime. And they would all say, "oh, it's ok, she's so cute!" By the end of the night, she was dragging her bag down the street. She couldn't even lift it anymore. It was so funny!
So that was our night. A great time! My kids keeping asking when it's going to be Halloween again!
Actually, out of everything coming up, Jackson is most excited for his birthday... why? Besides obvious reasons, he knows that directly following his birthday, the baby will be born and that is what he is the most excited about of all! ;) (so am I!)

The girls always end up with more candy!! The kids costumes are soo cool! Maybe you should save some of their candy for after your pregnancy?

The dragging candy bag sounds SO familiar. Alyssa & Aubrey were sharing a bucket, we filled that to the rim... and then filled Alyssa's witch hat the the rim as well. It's fun that the kids get such a kick out of it.
