fun times

we spent some time at the new I am a Child of God museum at the Church History museum. Apparently they re-do it every 2 years. There are so many cute exhibits and the kids had a great time trying it all out. This was a fishing boat (probably Noah's Ark) with a puzzle on it and then they could "fish" off the side.
Kaitlin and Logan enjoyed making dinner for the missionaries!
These chickens all had laid "eggs" and when the kids would lift one up to gather the eggs, it would make chicken noises. Cute!
Jackson (and Carli) learned how to dance with these Spanish dancers...

Kaitlin loved dressing up these dolls. They were wooden dolls with velcro and she could put clothes on them. It was adorable! There were several other exhibits too. We will definitely be going back. Oh yeah, and it's free! If anyone ever wants to meet us over there, let me know.
We took the kids bowling at Fat Cats a couple of weeks ago. Too bad our lane was totally messed up, oh, and the one next to it. We didn't have any luck and 3/4 of the way through the game, we gave up. But it was fun up until that point and then I had a coupon for free tokens so the kids played games for a while.

wish we had gone with you on Saturday. It was a FREAKIN' madhouse this morning. Seriously, so many people were there that you couldn't even walk. We lasted 45 minutes then bolted. It was awful! Next time we'll try not to go on an "off-school" day.
