Last weekend, we were driving home from Logan's soccer game and had a couple of hours to kill before Jackson's. I mentioned to Bri that my parents were in St George for a couple of more days and how fun it would have been to go down and hang out with them. Being that Brian is NOT a spur of the moment person, I thought he'd just agree and that was it. Well, much to my surprise he said, "make a plan and let's do it!" So within 30 minutes we were packed and out the door. Of course, packing that fast, I forgot a few things but we survived! ;) So we went to dinner first and looks like Carli's a bit hungry in the above pic, huh?
All of the kids ate a HUGE helping of food... plate after plate. Then it was time for dessert. Logan chose carrot cake. All of the sudden he got "the look" and said his throat felt weird. I flung a plate his way and he threw up all in it, then another plate, and 3 plates later, the throw up had stopped. It was so sad. Apparently there were nuts of some sort in the carrot cake. I am not a carrot cake fan myself but apparently this is a normal thing. So, after all that great eating, he lost it all. Sigh! At least he managed to eat some more before we left to go swimming at the hotel. Which of course was a HUGE hit with the kids!
The kids were so tired that they all crashed in this bed and were out within 10 minutes. Then we played games till midnight with my parents. It was funny to whisper the whole time.
The next day, we went on a ride and then met up with my parents at a park near the St George temple.
