Mimi's Bday

My mom never wants to say what she wants to do for her birthday. So this year, we (Brian and I and our kids) met her and my dad at Red Lobster for some dinner. I had pre arranged for Lindz, Doug, and Els, and Julie, Dawson, and Carter to come over and have cake and ice cream with us after dinner but my mom didn't know that. So we got home from dinner and a few minutes later there was a knock on the door and it was Lindz and her gang. My mom was so surprised and happy. She was the entertainer of the kids. They played Ring Around the Rosies...

oh... and then there is another knock on the door and it's Julie and her boys. Another fun surprise! So we had cake and ice cream

and then Doug notices we have a drumset for Guitar Hero and wants to play it. It was the first time we had really used everything and it was SO FUN! Everyone got involved, singing, playing the instruments etc. It was a BLAST!

Julie tried to sing her heart out but the game didn't think she did as good of a job, haha!
