Kaitlin's Princess Party - a dream!

Kaitlin's birthday is on the 24th, but since that is a Utah holiday, a lot of her friends were going to be out of town, so I decided to have it a few days earlier. This was her first birthday party with friends and she couldn't have been more thrilled. She's been dreaming about this birthday party for months! I thought these cupcakes were bright and darling.

I promised Kait a new princess dress and shoes for her big day. She woke up at 4am and put the dress on and then came into my bed. I could feel the dress on my cheeks all the rest of the night.

We did things a little backwards, so we opened presents first and then took a group photo.

Because... Princess Amerah arrived to take over. She is a darling princess and she really knows how to make little girls feel ultra special. If you are thinking of doing a princess party, she is THE ONE! She went around the room and asked everyone their names, how old they are, and what they wanted to be when they grow up. Unanimously it was "a princess!"

She had Kaitlin come up and open a present. It was a copy of her Princess Amerah and the magic dress that she signed for Kaitlin.

She read the story to the girls and at certain points, they would sing and dance.

Here, she is teaching the girls how to courtsey like a princess.

they decorated tiaras with the princess and then posed for a few group shots.

each girl got to sit on her lap and pose for a picture.

It was the most darling party. Princess Amerah was there for 1 hour and she absolutely made Kaitlin's and all of her friends' day. I would use her again in a heartbeat. Maybe for Carli's first princess party!
